I\u2019m a real person in Japan who really tries these products, really writes these reviews, and really spends far too much time chasing the perfect legal buzz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I do use AI sometimes to help tidy drafts, organize thoughts, or make complicated cannabinoid info easier to understand, but the opinions here are mine. The experiences are mine. The reviews are mine. If I say something slapped, flopped, surprised me, or tasted like regret, that came from me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hi! I\u2019m Mary Jane. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m a Japanese-Canadian living in Japan who loves getting lifted legally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in Canada, I was fully on team cannabis legalization and got to see what a regulated THC market can look like when it\u2019s done properly. Living in Japan is, obviously, a very different story. Here, staying within the law is non-negotiable. But that does not mean curiosity disappears, and it definitely does not mean the desire for a good chill magically disappears either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So when I discovered Japan\u2019s strange, fast-moving, wildly creative world of legal and not-yet-regulated alternative cannabinoids, I was fascinated. I still am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What started as personal curiosity turned into a bit of a mission. I wanted to know what was actually worth trying, what felt good, what felt sketchy, what helped me relax, what helped me focus, and what was mostly just clever packaging. Somewhere along the way, this blog was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You&#8217;ll Find Here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I write reviews, explain cannabinoids in plain English, share what I\u2019ve learned, and try to make this whole space feel less confusing and more human. A lot of this industry can feel like a maze of weird acronyms, bold claims, mystery blends, and people pretending every cart is the second coming. That\u2019s not really my style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What This Blog is Not<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not a hype machine. I\u2019m not here to push products I don\u2019t believe in, pretend everything is amazing, or talk you into buying stuff for the sake of it. I\u2019m also not here to encourage anyone to break the law. In fact, the opposite. I am strongly against breaking any laws in Japan, or anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This blog is about curiosity, harm reduction, honest reviews, and helping people make smarter choices in a space that can be confusing, under-explained, and sometimes a little too eager to oversell itself. If I think something is great, I\u2019ll say so. But I can&#8217;t guarantee what will <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I only feature products I genuinely enjoy, so if something doesn\u2019t work for me, it simply won\u2019t be included here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>And just to be crystal clear:<\/strong> Mary Jane in Japan covers legal cannabinoid products and retailers. I don\u2019t know where to buy illegal cannabis in Japan, I\u2019m not secretly holding out on you, and please don\u2019t ask me where your cousin\u2019s friend bought weed in Shinjuku, because I have no clue and don\u2019t even <em>want<\/em> to know. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why I Do This<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because I enjoy it. I like the science (even if I don&#8217;t always understand it). I like the trial and error. I like the ridiculousness of this whole \u201cwhat on earth is this new cannabinoid and what does it actually do?\u201d game. I like finding products that feel good, fit real life, and most importantly in Japan &#8211; stay on the right side of the law. But most of all, I like sharing what I find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If this blog helps you discover something that works for you, understand the space better, or just feel a little less alone in your curiosity, then it is doing its job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So welcome.
