Review: Tensuke Original Biscotti CDT Cartridge

There’s something oddly charming about a product that doesn’t look flashy, doesn’t scream “luxury,” and still manages to quietly glue you to the couch while making you contemplate whether getting snacks is worth the physical effort.

That’s basically my most recent experience, and why I nearly broke my ankle running here to do a Tensuke Biscotti review.

At ¥9800 for a 1ml cartridge, this thing is kind of absurdly good value for what you’re getting. And while some products feel ultra-premium and polished right out of the gate, Tensuke Biscotti feels more like the sleeper hit in the lineup.

Right off the hop? I like this one.

What’s Inside Tensuke Biscotti?

This blend combines:

  • H4CBH 20%
  • CRDP 30%
  • CRDB 20%
  • CBD
  • CBG
  • Biscotti CDT terpenes

That’s 70% psychoactive cannabinoids before even factoring in the entourage effect from the CBD and CBG. The CBD and CBG round things out nicely and give the experience a more grounded, cohesive feel. The body high feels intentionally designed rather than just being overwhelmingly powerful for the sake of it. According to the Japanese description on the site, Tensuke specifically aimed for “weight, depth, and cohesion” in the blend design — and weirdly enough, that’s exactly how it feels.

Tensuke Biscotti Review: The First Impressions

The flavor surprised me. I expected something aggressively dessert-like because “Biscotti” as a terpene profile usually makes me think of sweet bakery vibes turned up to 11. But this is much more restrained. On the inhale, the biscotti flavor is pretty mild. Slightly creamy, faintly nutty, almost cookie-adjacent. Then on the exhale, it opens up a bit more and reveals something deeper underneath.

There’s a smoky, grassy, slightly spicy layer hiding under the sweetness that makes it feel much more realistic and CDT-forward than artificial or candy-like. Does it taste exactly like “the real thing”? Not completely. But it kinda does… a little bit? Enough that it immediately reminded me of the actual flower rather than a generic sweet vape flavor. That grassy terpene realism is definitely there.

Effects Timeline

7:30 PM

First impressions: mild biscotti sweetness, creamy/nutty inhale, grassy spicy exhale.

7:35 PM

Light pressure behind the eyes starts building.

7:40 PM

Body relaxation begins creeping in slowly.

7:50 PM

Mental relaxation starts catching up with the body.

8:00 PM

Okay yeah. We are officially stoned. Very relaxed. Very chill. Heavy indica vibes. This is not a “productive little hybrid for cleaning the kitchen” situation. Thank goodness for blankets, though.

8:30 PM

Definitely more body-heavy than cerebral. Fantastic for body scan meditation or just melting into the couch while staring into space, pretending you’re having profound thoughts.

9:30 PM

Could have absolutely fallen asleep. Got hungry enough to get food… but getting up felt emotionally and physically ambitious. And not long after that? I was out like a light in a wonderful, deep sleep.

The Next-Day Feeling

The next morning, I did notice a bit of lingering grogginess. Not in a bad way, thankfully. There was no headache or weird, foggy chemical feeling. More like, my body is still deeply relaxed even if my brain has not fully clocked in yet.

Coffee definitely helped. And for a nighttime indica-style product, that feels pretty fair. If you’re sensitive to lingering sleepiness, this might be more of an early evening/night option rather than something to hit casually at midnight before an early morning.

Who I Think This Is Best For

Tensuke Biscotti feels ideal for people who:

  • Prefer body highs over intense head highs
  • Want a more balanced multi-cannabinoid blend
  • Like realistic CDT terpene flavor
  • Want strong effects without spending premium luxury-cart prices
  • Need help unwinding at night
  • Miss that heavier old-school indica feeling

I wouldn’t necessarily call this beginner-friendly unless you’re extremely cautious with dosing. The effects creep up a little at first… and then suddenly you realize your legs have become decorative.

Final Thoughts

I’m genuinely impressed by this one. Tensuke Biscotti may not have the ultra-hyped branding or “premium collectible vape” energy some other products lean into, but in terms of sheer COSPA? This thing is excellent.

Strong, relaxing, layered, sleepy, satisfying, and surprisingly authentic tasting. It feels thoughtfully blended rather than just aggressively potent. And sometimes that balance matters more.

I won this in an X giveaway originally, but I’ll absolutely repurchase it myself.
