Papillon Science had me curious before I even took the first puff. Neon colours, butterflies, purple-heavy branding, gloriously feminine packaging — finally, an altnoid product that looks like it was allowed to have fun. Then I saw the formula: 50% THAH, 40% CRD and 10% terpenes in a Green Crack profile. Okay, now you have my attention.
I expected strong. What I didn’t expect was for it to be so… lovely. THAH doesn’t grab my brain and point it at one thing like CBX can. Instead, everything gets softer, lighter and happier. Music sounds better. Walks feel like a fantastic idea. Laundry becomes negotiable. At one point I was sitting on the couch smiling at absolutely nothing, watching clouds drift past the window and thinking, yes, this is actually a very good use of my morning. The best description I have is a whole sigh spreading through my body. Relaxed, floaty, properly lifted without being flattened.
And yes, we are absolutely going to talk about the butterflies. So keep reading for the full Papillon Science THAH liquid review.

Bottom Line: Papillon Science’s THAH Liquid is silky smooth, surprisingly cheerful, and wonderfully easygoing for something that can hit pretty hard. For me, it feels like a whole sigh spreading through my body: light, happy, relaxed and floaty without automatically gluing me to the sofa. High-tolerance users may find this a very satisfying middle ground; newer users should approach that 50% THAH with considerably more respect.
What’s Inside: Papillon Science THAH Liquid Breakdown

This is a 1ml 510 cartridge built around a relatively simple formula:
- THAH: 50%
- CRD: 40%
- Terpenes: 10%
- Flavor: Green Crack
The headline here is obviously that 50% THAH. This is not a product where the featured cannabinoid has been sprinkled into the formula for decoration.
For my fairly high tolerance, it lands in a particularly nice middle zone: clearly strong, definitely intoxicating, but not automatically overwhelming. Someone with little altnoid experience could have a very different afternoon.
Taste & Terpenes
Papillon calls the flavor Green Crack, and the taste is much more natural and cannabis-adjacent than candy-vape territory.
The first inhale is surprisingly subtle. Initially, I get almost nothing… then, as the vapor sits in my mouth, a little citrus begins to emerge. The finish is greener and distinctly weedy, which I actually really like. And good lord, is it smooth. In fact, on my latest test, “smooth” didn’t feel sufficient. This was silky smooth. Three puffs at 3.0V went down with no argument whatsoever. I don’t know the exact source of the terpenes, so I’m not going to start awarding them a family tree, but the overall profile works. It isn’t overwhelming (at all) but it’s more hempy than fruity, and I like that.
Effects & Experience
0–10 Minutes: Oh, Something Is Happening
On my latest test I took three puffs at 3.0V on the trusty airis.
By the third puff, that familiar warmth had started building in my chest—the particular little signal my body gives me when it knows something more substantial is arriving It wasn’t an aggressive head-rush. Instead, everything began feeling lighter and softer.
10–30 Minutes: Laundry Has Been Cancelled
About 15 minutes in, I abandoned the laundry. Starting laundry had been a good idea. Finishing laundry, apparently, was no longer part of the day’s strategic plan. Instead, I found myself smiling on the couch, watching clouds drift past the window and feeling extremely pleased with the general concept of being alive.
This is where THAH feels almost like the opposite of CBX for me. CBX can grab my attention and narrow it onto one thing. THAH seems to take whatever remaining brain cells were attempting to organize themselves and gently release them into floaty, happy territory. Focus? No. Vibes? Immaculate.
30 Minutes: Happy, Social and Very Comfortable
Around the half-hour mark, I was in a genuinely lovely headspace. I felt a little social, music sounded fantastic, and my body felt loose and comfortable. The best description I’ve found remains: It feels like a whole sigh spreading through my body.
I could have happily vegged out on the couch, but I wasn’t couch-locked. Instead, I went out for a walk—and that was delightful too. And that’s an important distinction with THAH. It doesn’t necessarily force you into inactivity. It just makes inactivity seem like an extremely reasonable option. So functionally, I’d put it this way: I could go grocery shopping alone. I would not do serious work or have lunch with my mother-in-law.
After all, there are levels to being functional.
1–2 Hours & Beyond
For me, the effects seemed to peak around the one-hour mark. And around 90 minutes in, the munchies appeared, while the main high began slowly easing downward somewhere around the 1.5–2 hour point. There wasn’t a sudden drop-off. Instead, I was left with a soft, pleasant afterglow. That gentle taper is one of my favorite things about it. The entire experience feels rounded rather than abrupt.
Hardware & Presentation

The liquid comes in a 510 cartridge, so you’ll need a compatible battery. The oil itself is quite thick, but I haven’t had any practical complaints during testing. And can we please discuss the branding?
Finally. Papillon gives me neon colors, butterflies, purple, feminine energy and an almost Lisa Frank-esque altnoid fantasy laboratory situation. So much cannabinoid branding still feels like it was designed by and for the loudest guy in the smoking circle, so Papillon’s playful, pretty, unapologetically feminine look feels genuinely refreshing.
Who Is Papillon Science THAH Liquid For?
✅ Experienced users looking for something genuinely noticeable without necessarily being flattened.
✅ People who enjoy relaxed, cheerful, floaty effects more than laser-focused cerebral ones.
✅ Music, walks, chilling at home, casual social time and afternoons where productivity is no longer the main character.
✅ Higher-tolerance users wanting a satisfying middle-ground product.
⚠️ Lower-tolerance and newer users: 50% THAH may be considerably stronger for you than it is for me. Start with one small puff, give it at least 15–20 minutes, and resist the temptation to immediately start stacking hits just because the vapor is ridiculously smooth. Avoid driving or anything else requiring unimpaired coordination or judgment.

Final Thoughts
Papillon’s THAH Liquid hits a really nice middle ground for me. It’s strong enough to feel properly lifted, but still soft, happy and functional enough that I don’t feel flattened by it. The whole experience has this easy, floaty quality that makes music better, walks lovelier and doing absolutely nothing feel perfectly acceptable.
For higher-tolerance users, I think this is a particularly satisfying balance. Lower-tolerance users should definitely treat that 50% THAH with a little more caution. And between the effects, the silky-smooth vapor and branding that finally feels playful and feminine instead of aggressively stoner-dude, this one has been a very easy product to enjoy.
Next up from Papillon, I’ll be trying their H4CBH herb later this week, so keep an eye out for that review too. 🦋💜
