There are product launches… and then there are product launches that arrive in your mailbox with “FOR SELF-PLEASURE ONLY” printed across the front.

Reader, I nearly spit out my coffee.

Knockout’s new ONARIKI is one of the most boldly specific legal cannabinoid products I have seen in Japan. It is not coyly marketed as “wellness,” “intimacy,” or “a relaxing evening blend.” Nope. ONARIKI has one very clear assignment: enhance solo pleasure through a mix of HHBD, CBG, H4CBD and H4CBH.

And because someone had to investigate whether Knockout’s marketing department was writing checks their vape could not cash… I accepted the mission. This Knockout ONARIKI review covers the flavour, onset, sensory effects, body high, afterglow, sleep, and the all-important question: does it actually do what it says it does?

What is ONARIKI?

ONARIKI is a 1 ml Cherry Pie-flavoured vape liquid from Knockout, released on July 1, 2026. The brand does not disclose cannabinoid percentages, which is standard for Knockout. They have never needed a percentage chart to make a product that hits, frankly.

Instead, Knockout describes ONARIKI as a layered sensory blend with:

  • CBG for visual focus and stimulation
  • HHBD for a quick mood-lifting head high
  • H4CBD for enhanced touch sensitivity
  • H4CBH for a deep body high and lingering afterglow

The concept is essentially “The Spark” followed by “The Melt.” First, heightened mood and senses. Then, a heavier, more physical, deeply relaxed finish.

It is an ambitious claim. Also, a very funny one. But it turns out it is not just funny.

Knockout ONARIKI Review: First Impressions

I started with three solid, three-second pulls. I was expecting a sweet, candy like flavor but it was much milder than I expected. Rather than a loud cherry-candy vape, ONARIKI had a soft sweetness on the inhale, with a slight hint of candy-like finish. On the exhale, I picked up a subtle herbal, piney note that reminded me a little of Blue Dream-style profiles.

Knockout has not disclosed the terpene blend for ONARIKI, so I cannot tell you exactly what created that note. Still, it gave the flavour a welcome bit of balance. It kept the Cherry Pie profile from becoming too sugary or artificial.

Smoothness was excellent. There was virtually no throat catch and no coughing. Knockout has a habit of making dangerously smooth carts: the kind where you have to remind yourself that you have already had enough because it is so easy to keep puffing.

Effects: The Slow Build Before the Big “Oh.”

At around five minutes, I felt the first gentle signs of the high: a little pressure behind the eyes, a subtle opening in my chest, and increasingly smiley cheeks. This is not a slap-you-upside-the-head vape. ONARIKI starts gently, like a soft tap on the shoulder followed by a flirty wink with a, “Hi. We’re going to have a nice evening.”

Around the ten-minute mark, colours started looking a little more vivid. Nothing dramatic or psychedelic—more like someone quietly nudged the saturation slider up one notch. Music also began sounding richer and more immersive.

This was not a blend that made me want to dance around the room. It made me want to sink into the music and become one with it. I could have answered the phone or the door if I needed to, but I did not particularly want to. The outside world was still there. It just seemed less interesting than my bed and whatever song was playing.

By 20 to 30 minutes, the body high caught up with the head high. My muscles softened, lingering aches faded into the background, and my skin became noticeably more responsive to touch. It was around then that Knockout’s marketing suddenly stopped sounding like marketing.

This was the moment I stopped thinking like a reviewer… and started appreciating why this product exists.

Does ONARIKI Actually Enhance Touch and Your Sensory Experience?

Enthusiastically: yes.

The touch sensitivity was real, but it did not feel artificial or jittery. It felt like a combination of reduced tension, increased body awareness, and a warm, comfortable physical high. The H4CBD and H4CBH pairing seemed especially well suited to that part of the experience.

At 35 to 45 minutes, the body high became the star. The head high remained pleasant and functional, but the deeper physical relaxation was what really defined ONARIKI. It also occurred to me that I was becoming remarkably difficult to distract. If someone had rung the doorbell with pizza, a million dollars, and my favourite dessert, I would have answered… but I’d still have wanted to get back to bed to continue my “research.”

So yes. If you are wondering whether ONARIKI is suitable for a little self-meditation, if you catch my drift, it is.

Duration, Munchies and Afterglow

The main effects lasted a comfortable two and a half to three hours before tapering off gradually.

Around the hour-and-a-half mark, the munchies arrived. Politely at first, then with enough conviction that I began taking snacks very seriously.

The afterglow was one of ONARIKI’s strongest features. By the time I looked at the clock and realised it was already past midnight, I felt deeply relaxed, content, and very in tune with myself. It was easy to settle into sleep afterward, and I slept well.

Best of all, there were no lingering effects the next morning. No grogginess, no fuzzy brain, no heaviness, and no cannabinoid hangover. Just a good night’s sleep and a completely normal morning.

Who Is ONARIKI For?

✅ Anyone looking for a body-forward, sensory-focused vape rather than a slap-you-upside-the-head kind of high.

✅ People who enjoy sinking into music, a hot bath, a cozy bed, or a very intentional night to themselves.

✅ Those who want a smooth, gradual build with richer colours, a relaxed headspace, increased touch sensitivity, and a genuinely lovely afterglow.

✅ Beginners who want to explore a softer, more manageable nighttime vape without immediately being launched into another dimension.

⚠️ The onset is gentle, but the body effects build over time and the main experience can last around 2.5 to 3 hours. Start with one small puff, wait at least 10–15 minutes, and see where the evening takes you. There is no prize for speed-running your relaxation.

How to Buy Knockout ONARIKI

At the time of writing, ONARIKI is available directly from Knockout’s official online store. Knockout releases can sell through quickly, especially when they are this delightfully niche, so do not be shocked if it is temporarily out of stock.

Available Size & Pricing

  • 1 ml vape liquid: ¥12,000 (tax included)

ONARIKI is a 510-thread cartridge, so you will need a compatible vape battery if you do not already have one.

Final Thoughts

ONARIKI was not the strongest vape I have ever tried. Not even close. But even with my high tolerance, I found it pleasantly potent rather than overwhelming.

But that is not a criticism. Knockout did not make this to blast people into space. They made it to create a specific kind of evening: sensory, body-forward, immersive, relaxed, and deeply satisfying. And it does exactly that.

It starts with a mild mood lift, richer music and slightly brighter visuals, then slowly hands the reins over to a warm, touch-sensitive body high with a genuinely lovely afterglow. The fact that it also transitions so easily into restful sleep makes it even more appealing as a night-time option.

This may be the most niche product I have ever reviewed. Which, considering my career choices, is really saying something.

Would I buy it again? Yes.
Did Knockout understand the assignment? Extremely yes.
