Knockout’s SPARKLE SUNSHINE landed on September 2 as the bright, daytime-ish middle child of the SPARKLE family. According to Knockout, original SPARKLE is about turning the mental gears up, TWILIGHT is for bringing the day to a close, and SUNSHINE sits somewhere between them: bright, euphoric and strong without immediately sending you into the sofa.
This was actually my first SPARKLE-series vape, so I went in without much comparison beyond my previous experiences with the cannabinoids inside it. And after three puffs?
Oh. Work is over. Now I get to be a person again. And so, here is my review of Knockout’s SPARKLE SUNSHINE.

Quick Scores
⭐ Taste: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
⭐ Kick: ★★★★½ (4.5/5)
⭐ Head High: ★★★★½ (4.5/5)
⭐ Body High: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
⭐ Focus: ★★★★★ (5/5)
⭐ Music Enhancement: ★★★★★ (5/5)
⭐ Beginner Friendly: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
⭐ Overall Effect: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Bottom Line: SUNSHINE is a properly strong, happy, focused high that made me want to disappear into music, hobbies and anything I genuinely enjoy doing when nobody is paying me. For my high tolerance, three puffs hit an almost perfect post-work/midday recreational level: thoroughly baked, but not flattened.
What’s Inside: SPARKLE SUNSHINE Breakdown

Knockout doesn’t publish percentages for this blend, but there is a lot going on inside that little 1ml cartridge:
- CBX: the core of the SPARKLE series
- HHBD: intended to provide the quicker initial lift
- H4CBH: the later, stronger wave
- CRDB: longer-lasting positive effects
- CRD: the supporting base
- CBG: included for clarity and balance
Knockout specifically describes SUNSHINE as having a quick brightening effect followed later by a stronger full-body wave, without the kind of heaviness that completely buries you in the sofa.
And, surprisingly, my experience followed that progression remarkably closely.
Taste & Terpenes
SUNSHINE is officially a ripe banana-inspired flavour, and banana absolutely comes through. But to me, it wasn’t straight-up banana candy. It reminded me more of Osaka mixed juice — that sweet, creamy, fruity blend of banana and assorted fruit you get at old-school cafés around Kansai. Very tasty.
I personally tend to favour cannabis-forward flavours, so this probably wasn’t ever going to steal my flavour crown. Still, I had zero complaints.
I did notice a slight catch at the back of my throat at 3.0V, enough to make me cough a little, so this may be one worth trying slightly lower if you’re sensitive to throat hit.
Effects & Experience

0–10 Minutes: The Sunshine Starts Peeking Through
Nothing dramatic happened immediately. Then, within a couple of minutes, I started feeling that familiar sensation behind my eyes. A little smile appeared. My mood started lifting. And by ten minutes, I was noticeably brighter and very chatty.
It reminded me of the familiar HHBD lift-off I’ve experienced before: that feeling that someone has quietly opened the curtains in your brain. No paranoia. No uncomfortable acceleration. Just: ohhh, hello.
10–30 Minutes: CBX Has Entered the Chat
Around fifteen minutes in, CBX made its entrance. I started getting that characteristic tunneled-focus feeling I’ve noticed with stronger CBX products before — except this time, it felt beautifully manageable. Instead of getting trapped inside my own thoughts, my brain wanted something enjoyable to latch onto.
Apparently that something was my Labubus. I suddenly desperately wanted to sit down and play with them. Something tactile, comforting and absorbing sounded absolutely perfect. I was happy, stoned, focused and getting actual goosebumps from how nice everything felt.
And that is where I realised what SUNSHINE is good at. Hobbies.
This isn’t really my choice for replying to emails at two in the afternoon. This is a “work is over, now I get to be a person again” vape. SUNSHINE feels made for getting pleasantly lost in whatever you actually enjoy doing when nobody is paying you. Playing guitar. Gaming. Drawing. Making something. Watching a movie. Fussing around with a collection. Putting on music and actually listening to it.
Speaking of which…
The Music Test

Twenty minutes in, music was fucking brilliant. I went from casually listening to belting out “Jolene” at the top of my lungs and feeling, with complete confidence, that I sounded fantastic. Whether that confidence was objectively warranted is between me and Dolly Parton… May her beautiful soul rest in peace. 💛
Needless to say, SUNSHINE is coming with me to karaoke next time. もちろん、100%.
30 Minutes: Nicely Baked in the Sun
Thirty minutes in, your girl was high. Properly high.
I have a very high tolerance, and three puffs landed at what felt like an absolutely perfect midday/post-work recreational level for me. Nicely baked in the sun. Not incapacitated. Not glued to furniture. But unquestionably stoned.
That distinction matters, because I do not think SUNSHINE is particularly beginner-friendly. Someone with very little cannabinoid tolerance could potentially find even a much smaller amount surprisingly intense. This is experienced-user territory in my book.
1–2 Hours & Beyond
And then, around the one-hour mark: There was the H4CBH bliss.
The mental stimulation had already settled into this happy, absorbed state, and now a warm body relaxation started rolling underneath it. This was probably my favourite stage. My body felt deeply comfortable, but I wasn’t couch-locked. I could still do things. I simply felt exceptionally content while doing them.
As the evening continued, the relaxation gradually deepened. By the time I actually wanted to sleep, falling asleep was easy.
The Next Day
The following morning, I could still feel a little lingering buri buri. Nothing terrible. Nothing that made me regret the night before. Just enough residual fuzziness to remind me that SUNSHINE has some serious legs.
That also reinforces my beginner warning. Knockout’s “won’t flatten you” description felt pretty accurate for me, but I’m an experienced user with a high tolerance. A newcomer could have a dramatically different afternoon.
Who Is SPARKLE SUNSHINE For?
✅ Experienced users looking for a genuinely strong daytime/post-work high
✅ Music, movies, gaming and immersive hobbies
✅ Anyone who loves focused, euphoric effects without immediate couch lock
✅ People who want to be done working, but not necessarily done with the day
✅ High-tolerance users wanting something substantial
⚠️ Beginners: tread lightly. Start with one small puff and give it plenty of time — at least 15 minutes, preferably longer — before deciding whether you need more. Don’t stack hits just because the first few minutes feel subtle, and don’t drive or do anything unsafe while impaired.

Final Thoughts
SPARKLE SUNSHINE was very fun. I expected “daytime” to mean energetic or lightly uplifting. Instead, I got something much more interesting: a hobby high. It made music incredible. It made tactile things appealing. It gave my brain something pleasant to lock onto. Then, later, the H4CBH rolled in underneath everything with that lovely warm bliss without immediately turning the evening into bedtime.
For a beginner, this could be a lot. For me? Three puffs, music on, responsibilities finished and something fun to disappear into.
That is my kind of sunshine. ☀️
