This Knockout XTC CBX review begins with a confession: I was skeptical.
Knockout has never been especially shy about giving its products a very specific assignment. Its limited Valentine’s Ecstasy set was designed for couples. ONARIKI turned the focus inward with a sensory blend intended for solo pleasure. Now XTC takes the concept in a slightly different direction—not simply by amplifying touch, but by attempting to soften the mental tension, hesitation, and self-consciousness that can get in the way of intimacy.
That’s a pretty massive assignment for a altnoid and on paper, Knockout’s carefully staged concept sounded a little gimmicky.
Then XTC started following the script.

Bottom Line:
XTC is a layered, sensual evening blend that starts by lifting the mood and loosening the mind before allowing the body effects to catch up. It is best suited to couples who want to feel more affectionate, present, playful, and physically connected without becoming completely lost in a heavy body high.
What’s Inside: Knockout XTC Breakdown
Knockout does not disclose the exact cannabinoid percentages in XTC, but the formula combines five ingredients with distinct intended roles:
- CBX: The centrepiece of the blend, intended to soften mental tension, overthinking, and inhibition.
- HHBD: A faster cerebral lift that brings the mood, chatter, and initial head high.
- H4CBD: Adds physical awareness and enhanced sensitivity to touch.
- H4CBH: Deepens the body high and helps create the lingering afterglow.
- CBG: Keeps the experience brighter and more alert rather than immediately sleepy.
- Flavour profile: Ripe papaya layered with Knockout’s sensual aroma blend, Libido.
The ingredient list is ambitious, especially when paired with Knockout’s proposed progression: ignition, melting, amplification, peak, and afterglow.
Surprisingly, that is more or less how the experience unfolded.
Taste & Terpenes
XTC has a clear tropical papaya flavour that comes through from the first puff. I also picked up something slightly fresh underneath it—almost minty, though subtle enough that I may have been imagining it.
The overall flavour reminded me of a summery cocktail: fruity, smooth, and a little decadent.
I generally prefer more authentic, cannabis-style terpene profiles over overtly fruity blends, so papaya was never destined to become my favourite flavour of all time. Still, it was pleasant, well balanced, and never harsh or sickly sweet. Most importantly, the vapour was exceptionally smooth. Three hearty puffs produced no coughing, throat catch, or irritation whatsoever. Knockout remains very good at making liquids that are dangerously easy to keep puffing—for journalism, obviously.
Effects & Experience
0–10 Minutes: Head First, Body Close Behind
I began with three substantial puffs at around 3.7 volts.
Within a minute or two, I could already feel a faint cerebral creep beginning. It felt gradual rather than explosive: a little pressure and awareness building in the head before the stronger high had fully arrived.
Around five minutes later, the first physical sensations appeared through my chest and began spreading toward my arms. They were still light at this point, but unmistakably present. This was the first clue that XTC would be more layered than a simple head-forward CBX experience. The mind arrived first, but the body was not far behind.
10–30 Minutes: The Script Begins
At approximately 15 minutes, I stood up to investigate why the dog was barking and immediately realised: Holy fuck, I’m stoned. The body high had become soft and floaty—very ふわふわ—while the head high continued climbing into something bright, chatty, and socially warm.
One of my clearest observations was that CBX and HHBD seemed to complement each other beautifully. CBX can feel introspective or inward, while HHBD brought a more outward, expressive quality. Add H4CBD and the increasingly noticeable body sensations, and the entire combination began feeling unusually cohesive.
The mood boost was undeniable. I felt more animated, affectionate, conversational, and generally delighted with life. I initially thought I might have preferred a little more strength in the head, but that assessment turned out to be premature. The head high continued building past the 20-minute mark, while the body effects also deepened alongside it.
This was not a case of one leading and the other disappearing into the background. The head opened the door, and the body followed through it. That sequence made perfect sense for the product’s intended purpose. The mental side arrived first to create chatter, warmth, and affectionate energy. Then the physical sensations caught up.
60 Minutes and Beyond: Sensual, Focused, and Connected
By around one hour, Mr. Jane and I had moved the research into the bedroom.
The strongest mental effect was not total disinhibition or recklessness. Instead, XTC slowed the scattered thoughts that can pull attention away from the moment. My mind felt quieter and more focused on the task at hand—which, I am pleased to report, was a lot of fun.
The physical sensations were amplified, but XTC did not make the experience feel mindlessly physical. It was sensual without losing the emotional component. Exciting, but thoughtful. There was also a noticeable softening of self-consciousness. Compliments flowed more naturally, affection felt stronger, and both of us seemed slightly less shy and more open to experimenting.
XTC didn’t completely get rid of all our inhibitions but it sure turned the volume way down on them. That distinction matters. We still felt like ourselves, just more present, affectionate, curious, and willing to lean into the evening. Compared with ONARIKI, which pulls attention inward and makes the body the main event, XTC felt more relational. It encouraged connection first, then layered the sensory effects underneath it.
Afterglow, Munchies, and Sleep
The main experience eased into a comfortable afterglow rather than ending abruptly.
Munchies arrived subtly at around the three-hour mark. There was hunger, but nothing close to feral raccoon levels. Sleep afterward was excellent. I settled easily, slept deeply, and woke the next day with a faint lingering afterglow.
There was no uncomfortable heaviness, fog, or cannabinoid hangover. The residual softness simply made for a pleasant, easy start to the morning.
Who Is Knockout XTC For?
✅ Couples looking for a sensual, affectionate evening blend.
✅ Anyone who enjoys a balanced head-and-body experience rather than pure couch lock.
✅ Users who want a strong mood lift, better conversation, and enhanced physical sensation.
✅ Intermediate users who may find the blend’s layered strength especially satisfying.
✅ Anyone curious about how CBX performs alongside HHBD, H4CBD, H4CBH, and CBG.
⚠️ XTC is not a beginner-friendly product at a three-puff dose. Newer users could easily find the same amount overwhelming. Start with one small puff, wait at least 10 to 15 minutes, and do not stack doses too quickly. The effects continue building after the initial onset.

Final Thoughts
Knockout has evolved its concept rather than repeating it. The discontinued Valentine’s Ecstasy was giddy, indulgent, euphoric, and highly sensory. ONARIKI was inward, body-forward, and suited beautifully to solo immersion. XTC feels more psychologically open, emotionally connected, and gently adventurous.
The head arrived first with brightness, conversation, and a powerful mood lift. The body followed with warmth and enhanced sensitivity. By the time both sides had fully settled in, the result felt connected, affectionate, sensual, and unusually present. It went beyond making touch feel better, it made it easier to stay focused on each other.
Did it completely dissolve all rational thought? Thankfully, no. Did it soften the mental static, reduce a little shyness, and encourage a more playful and adventurous evening? Extremely yes.
And while I am not saying Knockout is going to solve Japan’s depopulation crisis one sexy vape at a time, they certainly appear willing to do their part.
