I was in Nagoya. Then Osaka. And Tokyo, I’m coming for you next. 👀🌿
This week, Mary Jane is packing her bags and heading to Tokyo for a few days of legal cannabinoid business, questionable amounts of walking and, naturally, a little hands-on research.
After recently poking around Osaka’s cannabinoid scene, I’m particularly curious to see what’s happening in the big city. I’ll be meeting up with some of the lovely people I’ve gotten to know through Mary Jane in Japan, checking out cannabinoid shops and lounges, seeing what’s new on the shelves and generally sticking my nose into things in the name of research.
For journalism, obviously.
What’s Happening in Tokyo’s Cannabinoid Scene?
One of the things I’ve become increasingly interested in isn’t simply what Japanese cannabinoid shops sell, but what it actually feels like to walk into one.
Are the staff knowledgeable? Can they explain what’s in their products without requiring you to possess a minor degree in cannabinoid chemistry? Would a complete beginner feel comfortable asking questions? Is there somewhere to sit down, relax and actually experience the social side of Japan’s cannabinoid culture? And, of course, what interesting new things are hiding on the shelves?
Tokyo has a much bigger cannabinoid scene than I could possibly explore in one trip, which means I need your help.
Tokyo People: Where Should Mary Jane Go?
If there’s a legal cannabinoid shop, CBD store, lounge or other interesting spot you think I absolutely need to visit, send it my way. Let me know in the comments down below. I’m especially interested in places doing something a little different, shops with genuinely knowledgeable and welcoming staff, interesting lounge concepts and anywhere that gives me a better look at where Japan’s cannabinoid culture might be heading next.
I already have a few stops and meetings planned, but there’s always room for a little adventure. And if you happen to be wandering around Tokyo yourself this weekend? Well…
Maybe you’ll catch Mary Jane at a lounge. Who knows? 👀
See you in Tokyo. 🗼🌿
